PICC Line and Pre-Treatment Meeting with the Chemotherapy Department

It’s not like I can bottle out of this or anything… She’d f**kin’ kill me herself!

So it’s at 14:00 today at the Q.E. (Queen Elizabeth) Hospital in Gateshead today.
I’ll get to meet the team. Ask a trillion questions. blah blah blah!
Actually, in fairness. I think I may have all of these answered watching some YouTube videos have already answered for me.

I didn’t sleep a whole bunch last night, I think I was up at 02:00, 03:00 and at 05:30 before I finally gave up trying to sleep and came through and started blogging. Pain yesterday was minimal, a 4 / 10 at maximum. Today, I woke up and I don’t know if it’s apprehension or if it’s psychosomatic or not. I haven’t really had a decent full night’s sleep in so long now I can’t actually remember.

Kerry and I managed to have a pretty fun day yesterday. We had Kerry’s work day to finish first, then we drove over to the climbing gym to meet friends. Then as last night and today are my last days of normality for a while. We discussed watching a movie and getting a bite to eat.
Time was the killer yesterday. We were climbing in Newcastle. It made sense to go to the cinema in Newcastle too. We ended up in Cineworld at the gate. As time was off the essence, a cheeky one at Nando’s.

We went to see Spider-Man: Far From Home. Although, it wasn’t as gritty as all of the recent superhero flicks. I really enjoyed it. I didn’t think the animation was up to par of recent. I did think it was a good film. I love Tom Holland as Spidey. I love the Happy and Aunt May romance line in the film. I don’t think the film has too much re-watch value, I dunno… Give it a year or two and I’ll watch it again, I guess.

Well, I guess it’s just suck it up and get on with it. Guess I will go have a look if there’s any chores that want doing in the house.
